To stain or not to stain, that is the question....

It is my belief that every drop of wine in your glass should go directly into your mouth. It makes perfect sense.

But let’s say you’re sipping a nice glass of red wine and bam - you spill it on your white cotton shirt. Didn’t your mother teach you not to wave your arms around? You panic because you know that red wine stains are nearly impossible to get out. Chill. I have a great tip for you!

The best way to get a red wine stain out (before you wash it) is with white wine. You think I’m crazy? That may be true, but this tip is not. I personally tried it and it really worked! Somehow the white wine took out the red wine stain. The only bummer is wasting white wine; so use a cheap brand.

For my at home test I soaked the stain in a small bowl with some white wine for about 20 minutes. Then I rinsed in cool water, rubbed the stain and let it dry. Red wine gone! I didn’t even have to wash it. I may even put some wine in a squirt bottle to have on hand! It’s truly amazing!

I don’t know exactly how it works, but it does. So don’t be scared, grab a big glass of red wine and drink merrily! Just have some white wine around too!

Cheers!

Lynne
